Night Live, Mary Pat Kelly began her film career in 1970 working with
Martin Scorsese on In The Park while also attending a summer graduate
course at the NYU Film School taught by Haig Manoogian.
In addition to
screenplays written under contract for Columbia, Paramount,
Tristar and Savoy, Kelly is also writer/producer/director of the
To Live for Ireland (1986), Home Away from
Home: The Yanks in Ireland (1993), and Proudly We
Served: the Men of the USS Mason (1996).
her published works are Martin Scorsese: A Journey (1990), Home
Away From Home (1994), Proudly We Served:
The Men of the Mason (1995), and
Good to Go: The Rescue of Scott O'Grady from Bosnia (1996).
She is currently working
on a novel, Galway Bay, for Warner Books.
